FSCONS: Citizen’s Agenda: Net Neutrality, Surveillance and how to Re-build Politics
Datum: 15 November 2009 10:45
Net politics entails many different objectives and strategies. Also, modes of organization shape political strategies and possible ways of impacting legislation, infrastructure and technologies.
This presentation will re-think different strategies on how to promote an open internet. Right now there are several issues at stake, ranging from the debates on net neutrality in the Telecoms Package to surveillance by intelligence agencies and corporations. Different issues may require different strategies, and cross-over co-operation is necessary.
Also, Kullenberg will introduce the work being done within the WeRebuild clusters and the Julia Group, and the crucial question of how to participate, make new projects and co-operate over the internet.
Participant: Christopher Kullenberg, The Julia Group
